The reason why to own a PS3 is that the 360 will ALWAYS force it get better, and vice versa. How bout all fanboys start thanking each other for being from different sides. Since that's the reason why each side is getting such great games.
The Japanese gaming industry is going to try and kill off the 360 in hopes that Sony will regain dominance. I say there's never been a greater time to own a 360 than now. "How many discs" is all that PS3 owners mention when talking about rpgs on 360. They don't remeber FF 7 8 and 9 being on multiple discs as well. And Lunar SSSC. And Xenogears. And Star Ocean. And FF Anthology. And Parasite Eve. And Resident Evil 2. And Gran Turismo 1 and 2. And...and...and...and...and... and...etc.
And MGS, but because it's MGS we let is slide, right? Hipocrits.

Because in general this discusion is about the modern world. And the modern world back in the 50s was all about supression. Of what? It's just the unfortunate nature of the industry: we make these really mature games that stray away from E and enter into M territory, and then we get criticism for "letting our children buy them". I think if you're going to have an M rating, you're also going to have M rated games. And if Rockstar choses to keep on its endevor to push games to edge of that M rating, then let them do so.

gears of war was about 9-10 hours, I don't play games to skip story and speed right through,and i don't think many of us are willing to spend that kind of money and do that. games like RE 1,2,3,and 4 were much shorter than this. MGS had a special ranking system for those who beat the game under 5 hours.
